WtP State Champs!!!
Congratulations to the We the People team who went to Murfreesboro and came home with a state championship. That is two in a row! Off of D.C. in April!!

WtP Update no. 2
As you probably know, school has been cancelled for Friday. We are going to change plans a little bit as a result.
We are going to leave from HHS at 3:00 instead of 5:00 so that we can drive down to M'boro when it is still light outside. That will also provide us with more time to prepare for the next day. I have been checking the weather and it is not supposed to snow again (though it will be 10 degrees!).
I need all of you in some form to contact me and let me know that you have received this information. You can have one person from your group let me know or email me back on your own. I need to be sure everyone is up to speed on what is going on.
See you at 3pm tomorrow!

We WILL have the competition this weekend despite a little snow today. Please communicate this with your fellow participants who don't check their email. Any other updates I will post to the blog and you can also ask me questions for all others to see through that format.
Please take today to communicate with your group and continue practicing. Your opening statements should be polished and done by the time we head to Murfreesboro. Friday night should be a night for practicing our Q&A and not for running around printing out opening statements.
Wireless is available at the hotel so bring your computers to help with any extra research we need to do.
