Just giving the class something to think about more deeply: Why do think Obama didn't pick Hilary to get the rest of his votes?

Barack Obama did not pick Hillary Clinton because he knew it would be impossible to work with her. Her husband is a former President and she a former First Lady. He did not want someone that would constantly be looking over his shoulder. His judgement would constantly be criticized by Hillary and Bill. Hillary also would not handle being a VP well, considering her former position. Also she most likely would not have accepted his offer if he had asked her. If he loses the election she will run on the ticket in 2012. She will use his loss as a platform for her campaign. I believe she will run an opposed in the Democratic Party if this were to happen. I have also heard a rumor that Michelle Obama cannot stand the Clintons'. The Hillary supporters have to make a decision in November either Obama, who at times was rude to Hillary, or McCain who picked a woman as his VP. Only the results will tell.
