The Vice Presidential debate took place tonight. Sarah Palin vs. Joe Biden. There was a lot of talk on the War in Iraq and our economy. What are you views on the debate? Who do you think took the victory?
There was a lot of disagreement on if we should bring the troops home from overseas or not. Mccain/Palin think it would be best to stay, while Obama/Biden think its time to bring them home. In your opinion, what do you think would be the best choice for Nation's sake?
One last thing to think about. Palin states that the climate change is due to the cyclical temperature changes on our planet. She doesn't believe that climate change should be blamed just on man. Biden argues that climate change is clearly man made. Thoughts on this topic?

I didnt get to watch all of the debate but i got to watch the last part of it. I think that Palin did a better job than everyone was expecting her to do.I think that we should bring our troops home..we have been over there for a really long time and it seems like we aren't even accomplishing anything anymore..all you hear on the news is people dying or someone setting off a bomb and killing 10 people. And for global warming...i think that is is our fault i mean we pollute our air by driving cars, having factories, using chemicals in the air, setting off fire works. I mean i don't think that there is really a way it isn't our fault. So on both of these questions i will have to side with Obama/Biden.
Although Sarah Palin did much better than I thought she would, I still think that Joe Biden did a better job during the debate. I felt that he was able to convey his thoughts a bit more clearly and speak more eloquently. For me, he gives the impression of being a well-educated, respectable politician. Also, Sarah Palin's accent and manner of speaking (for a politician) is hard for me to get over, and frankly, is quite annoying to me. Don't try to be all cute and hockeymom-ish, just tell me what your views are.
I think we should gradually begin to pull troops out. In accordance with McCain, I think it would be unwise if we just pulled everyone out immediately and left Iraq to fend for itself. I don't, however, believe that we should take our time. I think we need a set timeline of realistic goals in order to keep things moving.
I also disagree with Palin AND Biden on the climate change issue. I believe that the climate change is partially due to the cycles of nature, however, I don't think mankind is doing anything to help. We are making matters even worse than they would already naturally be. The least we could do is be more economical so we don't all burn up in this stage of the cyclic weather.
