There are 3 super awesome and most important responsibilities for governments of all nations, unless that nation is California, in which the head master is Arnold Schwarzenegger, and everything he does is on the list of super awesome things. The first most important responsibility of a government is to do whats best for its country. And of course, the government will never know whats best, so the next major responsibility of a government is to hear out its people. This is because everyone will have a say in things, and it is the governments job to find the midpoint of everyone's say. And also, if the people are not heard, then they will be angry, and no one wants a country full of angry people. Now, when everybody has had their say, there will most likely be combating opinions. And when everyone tries to force their opinion on everyone else, (this bringing me to the 3rd responsibility on my list of super awesome responsibilities), it is the government's responsibility to maintain stability within its country, because, without stability, the house falls down.

1.Protect the peoples basic rights.(laws and stuff)
2.Maintain a stable Economy
3.Organize the peoples' resources responsibly(water, electricity,Chicken sandwiches, etc)

Gov't is no use if it doesn't protect your rights. You should be protected from being killed for no reason..
Gov't should keep the economy stable because crazy people will try to steal money and mess stuff up.
Gov't should organize our natural resources from over-exploitation so that we have water to drink and air to breath.

What would you say are the three most important responsibilities of government? um.....The economy has gone down hill since Bush was voted into office. Now Obama is left with all the dirt. The government needs to maintain a stable economy. Millions of people have lost their jobs due to the economy structure. We need more security. Part the reason the economy is bad is the reason people steal! When people steal that means other people have to suffer by paying more taxes. Nothing in the world is free. Secondly, the government should protect the rights of the citizens. The government should come up with rights that is in the best interest of the crowd. Third on the list, the government should always be for the people of the people. I mean what would the government be with out the say so of the people? If there was no government then the world would be total chaos. Its highly important that the officials listen to the citizens because the rights should appeal to the crowd. Opinions should be greatly appreciated.

The 3 most important responsibilities of the goverment are : the economy , protect their citizens , have good resources for the citizens . The economy is very important because the goverment has the responsibilty to have the value of their respected currancy up and competing with the other nations currancy , and show it dosent make stuff for their people expensive . They have to protect their people , by making sure that no one comes to their land to hurt and attack their citizens . they make sure that none of their citizens get hurt or harmed . the third important thing is that they give their citizens good resources , by giving theire citizens the right to electricity and clean water so that their people can have good resourses and like the goverment .

The three most important functions of a government are to protect the citizens' rights (to abide by the social contract between the government and the citizens), to maintain a working government on a state and federal level that works hand-in-hand to provide the basic necessities for the governed, and to maintain a stable economy. Without these three functions being performed at a high level too much tumultuous action will occur and there will be a constant rise and fall of who is and isn't in government, which in turn leads to a downward spiral towards corruption and government officials looking for the most power and not looking after the main interests of the people.

The three most important responsibilities of a government are protecting citizens' rights, maintaining stable economy, and providing enough resources for the people. These three responsiblities are connected very well.
First, the economy is important; if the economy starts getting unstable, there will be increase in unemployment rate. This will cause the government to concern people's right's because the people need jobs; and the people could rob each other when they are in an unemployment state. Also corruption could happen in people; when that happens the economy could fluctuate. Finally, the government need to provide enough resources so that at times like when economy is bad, there would be a chance for economy to go back up to a normal level.

The three main resonsibilities of the government should be to protect the people, build up the people with education or the like, and to help the people in thier struggles. With protecting the people I think this is very important. If the people are being attacked than how can they put their trust in the government? If the government protects its people it will allow them to live as they please and with some order. Speaking of which also applies to laws and rules of people hurting not each other or those around them(such as murder or other violent crimes). The government should also help to build up its people with education and other forms of learnig. Whether through providing money for schools or programs to help the people progress. Even through scholarships or other forms of the like. And lastly, the government should help people who might be out of work or struggling. Examples could be hand outs, new job opportunities,a cut on taxes, or other helpful ideas to help those struggling.

The 3 most important responsibilities of the government are to protect our individual rights, provide a stable economy, and make sure that we have the proper resources to survive. First, the government should make sure our rights as citizens are protected. The government should make sure the citizens are able to vote on what they think is right and what the citizens think are best. A stable economy is important because if we don't have a stable economy, then the world would be in recession(like we are now) and it would be hard for the average citizen to survive. Last but not least, the government should make sure we have the proper resources to make it through life and not the resources that will get us out of our money and cause us to go into debt to pay for it.

I would say the most important responsibility of the government is keeping order in the country without having too much power over the citizens. I should be able to walk down the street knowing i'm not going to be killed, but i shouldn't get arrested if i finger gun shoot someone either.
Another important responsibility of the government is keeping the economy in a good state. If the economy crashes then people lose jobs which then worsens their daily lives and causes people to have less nationalism.
The last important responsibility of the government is to be sure it properly represents the opinion of the people. If this didn't happen, we would no longer be living in a democracy and it would be horrible!
Oh and i think there's a fourth responsibility...supplying the entire country with free/tasty ice cream treatz. jk....LOLz!!!!!

The 3 most important responsibilities of government is to...
1.Create a safe,non-corrupt living for its people.
2.Protect its people's rights
3.Listen and abide by its people's desires.

A government must create laws that will regulate its people's actions to a point were a common sense living(no killing, stealing, etc)is stabilized but the people's rights aren't harmed. This needs to be done so there would be discipline in a country and not people running around doing whatever they want to do.
A government must protects its people's individual rights through laws or any other method. This prevents a government from being too powerful and exploiting their powers.
A government must listen and abide by its people's desires so that the people of the country trully have power and say in what they want their country to do.This also prevents a government from being too powerful and exploiting their powers.

I believe the 3 most important or i would say necessary Responsibility for governments would be A.) Protect every one's natural rights that were given to us every since we were born as humans. or other words the Natural law from Locke. B.)To hold up a stable and reliable government. The government must be able to solve internal conflicts as well as external and hold a stable economic system; if we are not able to relay on the government who else are we suppose to relay on? C.)Provide a sense of protection for the citizens. This could fall under the situations to protect from foreign or outside enemies as well as the sense that the government is only in power when the people wants the government to be.

I would have to say that i believe the three most important responsibilities of the government would be: maintaining national defense while keeping order, providing public services, and protecting the peoples' rights. A government should always protect its citizens and at the same time it should protect the country from its citizens. There are so many people in the country to maintain order and protect against terrorism that it is a major factor to be strong in those ares. Public services in a democratic country such as america is always needed. Many people would have to go without food, healthcare, housing, etc., if the government did not support the country in this way. And finally, a government should always keep a stable economy in order to supply public services and national defense. As much as i don't care for money, it is money that helps us survive in today's world and without the proper control and stability it is money that can ruin everything....

The three most important responsiblities of government (in no particular order) in my eyes are to protect the individual rights of the citizen, maintain a stable environment for its citizens so that it won't fall apart, and to make sure that the economy is going well. The first responsibility should be kept and followed by every government. A citizen has every right to their bill of rights because they earn them just like the government has the right to take your belongings if you don't pay your taxes. I mean, how can we say we live in a "free country" if the citizen's rights aren't part of the government's main responsibility?! The government's second responsibility is to maintain a stable environment for its citizens. Okay, let's pause for a moment and look around America. Do we honestly abide by this second responsibility? Are all citizens happy with their environment a.k.a. living conditions? Or are there still people out on the streets with no food or water? It's time for the government to take a stand and remember what the late, greate Abe Lincoln once said, "...Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth." In a nut shell, we need to be more FOR the people. The third responsibility is to make sure the economy is going well. In order for the country (or any business for that matter) to run properly, it must have some kind of money. The government should be efficient about the economy so that the country may rise to the top of the financial pyramid. No country should strive for their citizens to suffer due to a bad economy, so as a government, they should come up with ideas to keep the economy at a nice steady flow so that everyone will be happy and stable with what they have.

I believe the three most important responsibilities of the gov't are to protect the citizens, have a well balanced economy & better our education. So why did i choose these three? Well as most know we as citizens owe allegiance to our gov't and are entitled to protection in return. We are also entitled to privileges or franchises. Basically we're entitled to vote, have rights & speak our own opinions & have a say so on our gov't. Now to the third point our economy is HORRIBLE! Not trying to put Bush down but when he was in office our economy fell badly.(couldn't find a better word lol) With that happening we're now in a major hole & millions of people have lost their jobs & even homes. Hopefully Obama can find some possible way to fix this mess! And now to my last point, our education in America has gone down too! Plenty of students have dropped out of school, given up & turned to the streets. A lot of other countries have beaten us in education & with that happening students from those countries have come to America to work & get jobs that many students in America should be getting but cant because of the lack of educatuon! We really need to step up our education system & have a 100% gradute from school...maybe one day this dream of mines will come true but we have a lot of work to do! So until next time bye!

There are many responsiblities for governments. The three most important responsibilities I would have to say, first making and keeping the citizens happy and satisified. The second most important responsibility would be involved in environment, natural resoucres, and including health care; because our econcomy is so low we need to make sure we are on top of things finance wise. Last but not least I would have to say making sure the people are being protect and that all laws are acceptable and followed; even though there will probably not be peace but it should be safe.

The first important responsibility for government would have to be the people's interest. The foundation blocks of a dysfunctional government are when people in power use their power for hidden agendas or to get themselves and others rich. The second responsibility would have to be to protect the individual's rights. This is infringed upon in the Patriot Act. If you are a law-abiding or even a law-breaking citizen then your privacy and basic rights given to you by the constitution should be the first priority of the government. If the nation seems to be in a state of panic, it is always unjustifiable for our rights being viewed as unimportant. The third responsibility would be educating its citizens. Education is a simple priority that can't be argued with. It is necessary to have a people who can make informed decisions.

Ther three most important resonsibilities of government is to protect the citizens. with better secturity and intelligence to prevent more disasters from happening. Also to protect everyones natural rights so that everyone would feel equal. Lastly, i think the government should protect its democracy and not make so many decisions without the consent of the US citizens. Everyone should have a voice, and everyones opinion should be respected and taken into consideration.

1. To ensure a public education for everyone.
2. To provide a stable economy.
3. To ensure the people's rights.

Public education is a necessity to provide a stable way of life. For people to know what rights they have, how they can improve them, and also to know what to do better than what they have previously had. Also, it helps for the people to become more independent with their livelihood.
A stable economy is a major must cause as American’s we are use to the whole wealth thing. People began to go spastic when things aren’t in their control, and with the widespread of the economic downturn everyone is relying on their education.
Rights as a person should always be intact. This gives the people a safeguard with the government; so that the government can not get drunk with the power that they posses.

Me myself personally would say that three most important responsibilites for the gov't are to protect the people and their rights, keep the economy nice and clean, and protect natural resources. I mean if you don't protect the people and their rights, the people will feel like the gov't doesn't care and will eventually produce an anarchy. If the economy is not nice and clean, then everything will suffer. We will fall into a recession and just become all dirty and poor. Our natural resources should be protected because without them we will not survive.

The three most important responsibilities have been debated for years. One important part of government is maintaining a reliable economic structure. This is important because it is essential for the government to be able to obtain funds and pay off debts. Another important responsibility of the government is to allow the people to have some sort of power in making decisions reguarding laws important to them such as Homeland Security or Independent Farming. One other important responsibility of the government is to protect the people's natural rights. This means keeping the people feeling safe and able to live without fear of theft of their lives or their rights.

The three main responsibilities which the government must uphold are as follows:
The government must ensure protection of its people from opposing countries, terrorist organizations, and must strive to protect from criminals with in ones own soil. This is done with the use of Boarder Protection, national guard, police, military, etc.
Secondly the government must provide education and health care to all residents. Without education a countries economy and technology can not grow. Health care provides citizens with a security and need for their government.
Finally, with a government of our size and power, comes the responibility to help and support other nations in need as well as fight world issues such as enviornmental problems. This is important to help create a healthy world.

In my opinion, the three most important responsibilities of the government will be the economy, protect the citizens, and help them to solve their problems. It is very important that a government has a good economy or not.A rich government could have more equipment to help the citizens live better. For example, the richer the government is, the more homes for destitute old people are. Secondly, the government has to protect their citizens, and that is the reason why people joined together and made the government. Not only the strong people are fittest to survive in this world, but also the weak people. In Chinese we say "Three disabled people can beat up an intelligent master". Finally, the government should be able to help the citizens to solve any problems if possible. People establish the government because they have some problems that they could not solve them by themselves.

The three most important responsibilities a government has are as follows: protect the rights of those that they govern, maintain a stable economy, and to be honest and virtuous as they proceed through the election process and while they are in office. It is the government's responsibility to protect the rights of those they govern because it is those people who give them their power and who trust them to do what is best for them. It is also very important for the government to maintain a stable economy because, as made obvious by our present situation, when the economy declines it is the average citizen that feels the backlash. Lastly, it is important for the politicians that run the government to be honest with the citizens because without honesty the citizens cannot trust their politicians. This in turn leads to tension between the people and the government. And it is important for the politicians to remain virtuous because in times such as these when it becomes all the more likely for people to begin thinking about themselves instead of the population as a whole we have to be able to believe our politicians will do whats best for us all.

I think the most important responsibilities for the government are:
1. protect the citizens’ basic rights (life, liberty and property)
2. create a safe environment
3. have a stable economy
Men instituted government and the government make decisions for the societies. If the government even can not protect the citizens’ basic rights, there’s no use for the government. The government should also create a safe environment for its citizens. The government should make sure that no one attack or hurt its citizens. The last important thing is that the government should keep a stable economy. In today’s world, the economy is essential to the international competition between countries. People enjoy better lifes in a wealthier country. The wealthier countries can provide more public facilities to people. The government should make its citizens feel satistfied and love their own country.

First is to protect human rights(so equality wouldn't change in the future of men and women, free speech etc.).
Second is keeping trade between countries, keeping door open to every country.
Third is doing best for their country and care about people, giving the best what they can, not what they can take from us(for exp.: corruption). They hear what we want from voting and public speeches. It would be good if they could keep economy in good shape, because not only US effected by it, the other countries too. Today it is hard to find job, but can you imagine how it is to find job in China? What I meant is American economy plays huge role in the world. Government is protecting and trying to improve about issues over robbery and killing.

I feel the three main responsibilities of government are to keep people safe, abide by the constitution, and to maintain a stable economy. In that order! The american people should be able to feel comfortable and safe while going to work, living at home, and going to public areas. I feel that, in most cases this is going quite well. At least where I live. I feel that the government, and those that work for the government should also abide by the constitution. Discrimination, although it any government official would say they do not discriminate against race or religion but it definitely is an issue going on now. Another thing the government should do is regulate the economy. The recession we're in now should not have happened and I think government should continue to try and fix it.

To start off, the priority of the government should be to keep the citizens content. Dissatisfaction can very well lead to the people revolting and causing violent change. To tie in with this point, every citizen should know that the government should be afraid of the people, not vice versa. Secondly, the government should be able to successfully keep their citizens safe from outside forces. For if everyone could keep themselves safe and happy, for what would they need the government? A third responsibility of the government is to keep the people united. It has been said that, "A house divided cannot stand." I'm not sure if Lincoln said it first, but it was just as appropriate. When the people are fighting their fellow citizens, it tears structure apart from the inside making it so much easier for insurgent acts.

The 3 most important responsibilities for the government is to
protect our rights,
keep our economy good, and
protect us (like from terrorists). The whole reason established a government was to protect the natural rights (life, liberty, and property). Our economy needs to be in good shape so costs of goods dont go up and so the value of the dollar won't go down. also we need to be protected from terrorists and even citizens in our own country

The three most important responsibilities the American government should carry are universal health care for all, the acceptance and acknowledgement of majority AND minority opinions, and honesty in general. I believe that if your society isn't healthy, and equal health care isn't given to all, your society will never flourish in its full potential. People in America are dying on the streets, sometimes with nowhere to look, and this seems to me the most ridiculous aspect a world-leading society can possess. What kind of model for lesser societies can we be if a surprisingly high number of our citizens are impoverished and on the streets, riddled with disease? In a democracy, the seemingly fairest government in the world, the minority is often ill represented. I know it's difficult to make everyone happy, but minorities who have been and continue to have their rights denied to them is an unfair thing. Voting for officials and representatives is one thing, but revoking, say, the right to get married from a happy old couple, regardless of sexual preference is a regressive and cruel notion. Lastly, you can never have trust in your government if your government isn't honest with it's citizens. Some things are hidden from the public for its general protection, but other things, such as wrongdoings by our political leaders, other officials, and mistakes that impact people in negative ways must be communicated with our people, because having an educated mass means our people(in theory) will make more informed and potentially beneficial decisions in having their voice heard.

The three most important responsibilities of gov't are to:

1. Ensure public safety
2. Ensure equal rights
3. Maintain openness

It is important for our gov't to protect its citizens from terrorism and violence in communities.

One of government's most important responsibilities is to prevent discrimination so that everyone is treated equally.

Our gov't should always operate in a manner where the public will always be informed about decisions that are being made which affect society as a whole.

the top three responsibilities of the government are...maintaining a stable economy, protecting the rights of the people, and making sure the people are happy with their government.

the government needs to maintain a stable economy because the nation thrives on the economy and if it isn't stable then our society will not survive.

the government needs to protect the rights of the people so that the people can trust the government to take care of them.

the government needs to make the people happy so that the people will not protest against the govenment and their rules.

The three most important responsibilities for governments are economic stability, to protect our basic rights, and resources. The country being governed needs economic stability so the money isn't worth anything. They need protection of basic rights so people aren't being stolen from. They also need resources to be available so no one is dying of starvation or lack of water. That's why these are the most important responsibilities.

The three most important aspects and responsibilities of the government is to protect our rights, the economy, and protecting our country. The economy is handled by the government to make jobs available for citizens and provide a stable income. Protecting our rights is very important. It shows the government is not over abusing their powers and we are able to live a life of liberty, pursuit of happiness, and freedom. I believe protecting our country is different than our rights, because it is based on communication with other country. If agreement and communication is met, then our country will be safe from invasion.

to me the three most imprtant reponsibiltes of the founding gov. is to provide the basic human rights to all citzens of the united states. life, liberty, and the pursit of happiness. all three of these things are essential to have a good quality of life. civil rights are very important, they pertain to things such as freedom and privacy. the right to have a nice and comfortable life is the most important right, because a life that is not happy isn't worth living.

I would say that the three most important responsibilities of government are to protect the rights of the individual, maintain a stable economy, and to make sure they are doing what their citizens want to be done. They need to protect the rights of the individual to keep government from becoming too powerful. They need to maintain a stable economy in order to create jobs for its citizens. And it needs to Make sure it is listening to its citizens and doing what they want so that the people will be happy with their government and not revolt.
